Gerry Cinnamon In Boscombe (Macdonalds)

Whilst waiting for my gourmet food order to be lovingly prepared, cooked and served, a fairly famous singing bloke attended Maccy D's.

Now the place was packed, probably 60+ people in Maccy D's waiting for food - when I came in they'd just re-zeroed the order numbers and were serving numbers 1-5.  I got ticket 49 and there were more people waiting to be numbered, a steady stream (it was about 11:20 - they close at 11) seemed still to come from nowhere to create more people in the order queue.  Must be the O2 Acadamy, thought I, beer-filled and suffering tinnitus, these guys now needed some form of sustainance and the limp beef of the Golden Arches was on the menu.


All of a sudden there were crys of "It's Gerry!" or "Gerry's here!" and then an eruption of KC & The Sunshine Band's "Baby Give It Up" but substituted with "Gerry Cinnamon CINNAMON, Gerry Cinermuhun. La la la..." etc.

I've never heard a Macdonalds be so loud, and remember I've been in MaccyD's many times with football supporters who have oiled their tongues, filed down their vocal chords and consumed 14 pints of whatever the guest ale was in The Rabid Dog Freehouse, this was impressive.

So there we go.  I've learnt that walking may injure my foot, and how to take steps to treat them better.
I've learnt that Gerry Cinnamon likes luxury goods.
I've learnt that Gerry Cinnamon fans are the noisiest group
I've learnt there's a guy called Gerry Cinnamon
I've learnt that Gerry Cinnamon is quite famous.
